Why a coach in Slack and not yet another portal

Every culture tool fails the same way: one more portal, one more login, one more notification nobody opens. Adoption dies because the tool lives outside the work.

Sabia lives in Slack because that's where your team already is. There's no platform onboarding: you write to it like a teammate. And unlike a teammate, it doesn't forget.

Memory is the product

  • You committed to giving feedback this week → Sabia remembers on Friday.
  • Tomorrow you have a 1:1 → Sabia helps you prepare YOUR notes (and never sends them for you).
  • You mentioned a blocker a month ago → it's still present when it shows up again.
Sabia prepares and provokes human conversations; it doesn't have them on people's behalf.
Product principle #6

And it doesn't arrive generic: it learns the culture canvas your company defined — purpose, values with observable behaviors, how decisions are made, how mistakes are treated — and coaches from there.

Hard rule: a value without observable behaviors doesn't get loaded. 'Innovation' is useless to a coach; 'shares their own mistake in the retro unprompted' isn't.
